Is a dana 60 front axle out of a one ton dually any different then a dana 60 front axle out of a standard one ton  .  I know the rear axles have different hubs but what about front axles.? Talking about Chevy axles

Yes they are slightly different, I have one, they are an external bolt on hub and are increasingly harder to find. The rotors are also different as the offset is grater than a standard. Other than that I believe them to be the some.

hubs are I wanna say 6" wider per side but it makes using a 15" rim alot easyer

Hub is not wider.. mounting flange for the wheels is..
dually hub has the lug nut flange out near the lock in.. where a single hub has the lug nuts in by the rotor..

you can convert a dually hub by cutting/grinding the wheel flange off..  remove the rotor mounting bolts and get longer ones.. reassemble and mount your wheels in near the rotor..this will move your tire/wheels in about 4 - 6" and put you back to a single wheel track for each side.. if you mount tire/wheel to a dually type with say a Corp. 14 rear your front tires will sit wider than your rear tires and create 2 wheel tracks per side.. which in certain circumstances can be an advantage and in other circumstances not so much.
