Ok everyone I am tackling a 79 K5 blazer build from the ground up. Right now it's a rust free roller, but soon will be ready for play. Not sure what exactly I will do with it when done, but it will be fun.

Few questions:
What's a good 6" lift (not going with rough country)
What are some good tires that can be played with, but won't rip apart if driven on pavement?

Do the shackle flip in the rear with a 2 in block.  And get some 6 in front springs from em.

I would skip all that and go to Rockwells and tractor tires!!

Just kidding always cool to see a new build start, take your time don't rush it and make it the way you want it and enjoy

I agree. Take your time and don't get frustrated, the wait is worth it. Make a to do list and take progress pics.
When in doubt throttle out.
