best way to get a trailer registered with no title.

better of doing it the right way and avoid headaches down the road when some jim bob cop pulls ya over and the plate says it only weighs  half of what it really does     and those  weigh master/dot  trucks we all see on the roads  Will pull you over

I have never seen or heard of anybody getting pulled over because of trailer plates...  I heard they are however doing away with permanent plates because the state isnt making enough money.  Once again.

what  I was getting at was   if you get pulled over for anything   broken light   speeding  or whatever  and your registration says the trailer weighs 500 lbs  and it obviously weighs more than  that  you can be ticketed for having a improper plate  ive been there and done that   just my 2 cents

No need.  Trailer weighs 1540 lbs. And its a tri axle  made outta 6 inch I beam so its a 10,000 lb trailer at least.

Went in with weight slip and bill of sale and $75 later walked out with a plate
