Quadrajet rebuild

I'm looking for someone in the Lansing area that can rebuild a quadrajet.....I could do it but it takes me to long and it never runs right in the end

Grab hold of the linkage on the throttle plate and try to wiggle it violently. If it has play in the throttle plate, sling it in the ditch - it aint worth trying to build. It will leak vacuum badly at the point where the throttle shafts go through the plate and its pretty much impossible to disassemble the plate without breaking off the little screws that hold the butterflies on the shaft. It just turns into a buncha the more ya mess with it. Sorry!
