I completely agree that 3 officers should be able to take down any unarmed 15 yr old kid without the use of a taser or gun.

when i was 23 i was beaten by 6 cops in flint  and the worst part is i was just a passenger in a vehicle that the driver was running because he didnt have a license  when we finallly came to a stop i just sat in the truck with my hands up and didnt move   he ran   when they brought him back he had muddy footprints all over his face and coat  all i did was said WTF  they had already ran me and seen no wants no warants i was just standing there waiting for them to tell me i could go and next thing i know  they bring him back  i get slapped in cuffs and as they were putting me in the car they started hitting me with  nightsticks and i was black and blue from the base of my head to my ass  there were 12 cops there and none of the other ones tried to stop it just let i happen   then i sat in the car for about a half hour and the one that had started the whole hittin came up took me outta the car slammed my face on the trunk gave me all my stuff back and my buddys money and said you better get outta here  and as i started walking away he screamed out at me HOPE YOU MAKE IT HOME WITH ALL THAT MONEY WHITE BOY i made it to a pay phone and made a call and got picked up  the next morning i had a black eye and was black and blue from head to ass   never did  anything about it     THERE WERE 12 COPS THERE AND NONE HELPED   WTF


My point is we put to much power in the hands of ppl who dont deserve it      I BELIEVE IN WHAT THE POLICE DO AND WHAT THEY SHOULD STAND FOR BUT THEY HAVE TO MUCH POWER AND ABUSE IT TO OFTEN      JMO

if you listen to the cops themselves, they even tell the story. First day ,he was hand cuffed after tazing , next day they say IMMEDIATLY AFTER TAZING A MEDICAL PROBLEM WAS NOTICED AND HELP WAS GIVEN.did they handcuff him while he was siezuring? I agree too much power in the wrong peoples hands. I do respect what the police do but some are'nt doing the right thing. not doing any thing but commenting.

this is why saginaw, flint and detroit are the way they are because a cop cannot deeand him self with out get slamd by the media you know they cover what they want to sell bad get vewers dont like how they do it go down get your self a job then get told you  cant draw your gun till you see theres first by then your dead stop and ask why he was fighting the cop no one has the right to fight them if you are under arest you f#$% up man up and deal with it

A 15 year old kid doesnt really have a reason to be out unless there was a fight at home and left (been there many times) or somthing like that.. who knows.
It dont really matter why he was out. To me , unless the kid killed somebody he didnt deserve to die.  I think its just another case of cops putting on a show, trying to scare a kid straight, which if his parents cant then how is a cop with a cow prod going to?

Im sure the cops were not trying to kill him, but they did, that is murder. I cant see where the issue is of wether or not it was right, we shouldnt have to watch out everyday of our lives for cops that might murder us. I personally have had one reach for a gun, when i reached for my license plate in the back seat (it fell off), which i can understand why, but what if he had a tazer? i would have probably got zapped.

Your right... they didnt need them the last century.  Because people actually respected the police 50 years ago, unlike today. 

The occurrences where something goes wrong during a tazing vrs where it simply incapacitates the person is very low.  It is a viable way in todays f'd up world to stop uncontrollable people without shooting them.

No one anywhere has said that the kid deserved to die. I think that goes without saying.

I wonder why the kid resisted when the police arrived?  If he had stopped what he was doing, I would bet he would have never been tazed.

When I have been pulled over, which isnt very often... I usually notice the police with his hand on his gun as he approaches my truck.  I dont blame him one single bit.  I would too.

well, its just how this story sounds, im not talkin in general, im saying put yourself in this kids position.

Of course we dont have to watch every police officer out there, i can see how that could have been taken the wrong way.. my bad.

did you honestly see the size of the FIFTEEN yr old. I know alot of school teachers that break up 15 yr olds fighting all the time WITH OUT TAZERS! I did watch a cop on cops taze a WOMEN while his partener had her arm twisted behind her back ,pretty funny watching him jump. then while shes jerking around on the ground the cop starts screaming put your hands behind your back, then when she cant he must have had to stick his knee on her head to stop the jerking.nobody is saying all cops are bad. i live in beaverton and we had a 67 year old beat to a pulp by 3 state cops .not just rumor it went to court.2 out of three are no longer in this area they transfered them to     detroit. ther might be some reason they thought they might be more effective down there. This is not a 17,18 ,19 or 20 year old HE WAS 15 FOR HEAVENS SAKE.

found out he was tazed and died on march 22nd and his birthday is on march 24th  it being painted on the flint blockon 12th st and hammerberg road

dont think the kid had to die, but despite hes size the kid  came after the cops with the inton of harming them and thay delt with them acordingly, it was probly just easser to tazzer him then fight him and thats what the cop did
