How many of us in here have  Kill Switches in our  rigs ?


just wondering.  im glad i had one in my rig !  donnie  was able to shut mine down.  i was  under the hood.

I need to put one in my rig.... 

Be nice to have for safety reasons and for when i store it i wont have to disconnect the bat...

Donnie and I were talking sunday about this. We think we all should have one and everyone should know where they are in each rig. so if something happens we/anyone can kill the rig fast. I have one in my tracker put not in the jeep. I do have a toggle that shuts the gas off in the jeep but its not instant takes a few seconds to shut down.

I like to use a seperate button to shut everything off, because if you turm the key off, at least in my truck the column still locks, so youll lose your steering too.

my hole trucks run on toggles  flip it off and the truck dyes now no need for one on the fuel pump its mechanical also have my fire extingusher right at my left foot on the rocker  easy for any one to get at as long as door is open

i have switches for ignition, fuel pump and my fans. I have 2 main battery disconnects that kills everything at the same time. i have one in the truck and one on the outside of the truck just incase something happens to me someone on the outside can shut the truck down.

My Jeep has a Toggle switch for the Fuel pump and ingnion on. Key is there to start it.

But one I get my 700R4 in it I will run the furl pump on its owe switch and the Ingnion on its own as well.

Ive got a Flaming River cut-off switch in the inner passenger side fender that goes to the starter and my ignition switch.  On my shifter Ive got a toggle to my electric fan and the distributor.  The key in the ignition is still needed because it runs my turn signals, windshield wipers and unlocks my steering wheel. Ive got 5 seperate toggles for 8 aux lights.
