I am finally set on the vehicles that I want, I am happy with my explorer and now I got a new toy. I am gonna follow through on this one but not sure on the speed of the build. Monday when I title and plate it, I am gonna get a custom plate, BLZDEEP, which just refers to the amount of work I have to do to the body.

I got a 93 Jeep YJ yesterday the 18th.

Its a 4.0L Stick, its got 150,000 on the whole thing and 48,000 on the motor (validated on that)
It got a new clutch 2003, a brand new soft top with them coll slider windows. Its probably the best deal I have got yet, I got it for $1200. The only downfall is the body but that is easy since its mostly flat and I have plenty of steel to fix the whole thing.

Plans for the summer are to fix the body. and paint it black.
next year will be SOA lift and 33's and 4.10's

The truck was never washed by the original owner, so i am guessing that sped things up a bit.

all the rust you see is where them are all known for rusting. that and the back half of the frame
I had the full size thing it just bored me!!!

The only people you need in your life are the ones who prove they need you in theirs

Its all fun and games till someone gets knocked up, down or out

I checked the frame and its all solid, if there were cracks or rot holes I would have never got it.

Plop

Ripped out all of the carpet, and teh whole floor in general is good. The drivers side floor pan has be redone and looks fair so I am leaving that and the passenger side needs some patching done. And just found out today that I have the cool toss n' tumble back seat.

Its a jeep thing ;D

Just took off the fender flares, and well... I have to buy some new parts for sure. There are too many areas that are too bad to fix. Soo I am gonna be looking for some fiberglass.

Plop

Started to clean up some of the rust, and got to a clean edge to cut at. I was able to get one spot done today that was about a foot long. I didnt want to take pics of my welds on the first piece because they looked like crap. I ended up primering over the other areas that I cleaned up.

More done.

I ended up setting my truck on fire while I was welding. I freaked and was like, wtf?! I put it out and all is good. The guy use some calk/tar junk to connect teh seems of the aluminum and steel.

Well I am gonna be doing it all over again in a couple of years, I want to get a whole fiberglass body for it. The only reason I am welding new metal in, is because I had all the stuff for free anyways.
