Thinking about changing the color of the wheels too....what color do you think. I tend to go to black but was thinking that matching the blue of the rest  of the truck would be sweet.

I think so too. Just got to try to match it up! Its a pretty deep rich blue metal flake and the flake is fine cut.

Think I'm still gonna clean up and paint these wheels as when I get my 8 luggers, I'll be selling these and they'll be nice and ready for someone else to enjoy....

Also, here's my motor building dilemma..The motor that I have in the Blazer right now is a crate motor that is about 9 years old, but literally has 29,000 miles on it total. The original owner had it put in and only used the truck to go to silver lake sand dunes on occasion.

The unknown's:
-Head numbers or type- will a stamping number represent maker and model?
-If I look for bigger heads, should I also tear apart a perfectly fine block to bore
for more displacement or can I get away with caming what I have, adding heads
or just have my heads decked?
-Has a 650 holly on it now...at what point would I really need to upgrade to 700-750cfm
or larger.

I realize who ever I choose to have this done by will point me in the right direction based on what I want...just looking for
your experience to help me figure out what I want. I usually have Knight's Auto do the machine work, but anyone else have someone they really trust within 50-75 miles of Waterford/Fenton/Holly Mi?

start from scrach build a hole new motor and keep that one as a back up! and when building a motor spend the most money on the bottom end cause you can aways upgrade the to later! if you have any questions about parts talk to you machine shop I would recomend muscle motors they built mine and I love it! there # is 517-482-4900  hope this helps if theres anything else I can help with let me know!
