s10 build!!!

well me and my buddy bought this s10 a few days ago. it is a 92 on 42" tsl super swampers. here it is on her way home.



it has a engine in the pic but we have to return it. so we have no trans engine or t case. it has stock cj 7 axles but we have a dana 44 for the front and a dana 60 for the rear already.
we plan on putting in a 350 small block and a 700 trans. so the other day we started fixing up the body on the truck so we can get it painted.




i think we did a good job for only being 17 and never doing cab corners before we still need to sand the bondo and the rest of the truck.
oh and did i mention that this truck will be put inside of our school!!!!!! once we get her painted were going to dissemble it and bring it inside the school to raise money for our senior class. can you imagine the look on other kids faces when they walk into the school and see this monster sitting there?!? we told our principle our plan and he is all for it we just have to set a date to do it. and btw we are selling add space on the truck to local businesses to raise money so if you would like to donate that would be awesome.

i plan on keeping this updated as we do work so follow us in the next few months!!!!!!!

yup it sure was lol there tires are bout shot but will work for a couple of highschool kids lol there def into the wear marks

actually can anyone point us in the right direction on hydro steering? i heard we can do it using our stock gearbox and power steering pump is this true?

yes on the power steering pump...no on the gear box....need to get a orbital valve and hydraulic cylinder.

not bad ill give ya a tip dont let that bondo sit as soon as its sandable start the sanding cause if you let it dry all the way its like sanding concrete. Good luck on the project great idea nice to see your doing something productive.

alright so i have a few really big updates.
we spent all night cuting out the bed and buildin a role cage


then i spent the next day cutting the bar off cause it was ugly lol

here she is getting ready to be painted.

oh and btw i got the drivetrain all figured out. my buddy flipped his durango the other day he is fine but his dad said if i paid the tow truck fee and the impound fee then i could have it so.....340 bucks and i got this i am gonna use the engine trans and t case...but now i need a new front axle cause the d44 i have is a passanger drop and the durango tcase is driver side so if any one has a axle they wanna sell that would be awsome. so thats pretty much where she stands as of now

ohhh just trade the tcase for a 241 drivers drop...lol
