those were balanced like a month and a half ago, they did sit for a couple weeks but i ran them up past 70 with no problems all the way to lansing.
you sure you dont have any bad front end parts?

they deffinatly follow the road, any wide offset rims/tires put alot more stress on the steering and it torques around a little.

camok10

possibly bad wheel bearing's and then that insane amount of back space putting alot of stress on them causing the wander and vib's ???

took block into machine shop today and he said you may want to bore it out another .10 its alredy .30 over. due to the fact that it has some rust in cylinders so hes afraid it will burn oil.

bore job and pistons going to cost round $180
freeze plugs, cam bearings, hottanked etc going to cost round 75
diff crank becuz the one i have is a 2 piece main seal and i need a 1 piece one is another 100
cam i believe is $120 or so
plus intake and up
also parts for heads

kinda sucks but engine is pretty worn out and needss a fresh heart. engine in truck has like 232xxx miles on it

so unfortunately SAS might be held off til winter  :( but its still a work in progress so itll get done

good motors aint cheap. but a useable short truck is better than a useless tall one

so i got one head compltely cleaned valves were almost brand new  ++peace
valves spring were a little iffy im going to check them and see if we cant use some shims to make them within specs.
but after like a week of getting thrown in mineral spirits and soaked with some of the heaviest duty degreaser the heads came out looking damn near new. but to make them look even better took them over to bead blaster and ill tell ya they came out of there looking like they had just came out of the casting. i had to spray them out for like 30 minutes to get all sand out of them. hoping to take the other head in tomro to do the same thing  ;D
