can i use a mid 80s 4 bolt main block alredy bored over for this build?

yes you can. just make sure u get all the accessories and water pump of ur tbi motor if ur gonna run a serpentine belt. the old water pumps bein on the direct single belt spun backwards to what the ones with serpentine belts do, just an fyi

i kinda thought bout an electric water pump?? heard they save mpgs and cool alot better?

eh. itd just take more work to re-route the serp belt and what ya get outta it aint worth the price IMO

ya could do it. but when they did that swap for mpgs on extreme 4x4 they got like an extra 4 miles to the TANK. thats a personal preference thing

sooo i took block in today. and it may need to be bored out anothe .10 over and its already .30 over so will i have to change much??

ok good and also can i use a 350 tbi unit instead of the 454 or is there a bigg diff between them?

454 has bigger injectors and larger barrels, to flow more volume for the bigger engine. thats the only difference that i know of

i have the stock 350 tbi on my 355 and it runs just fine
