just got this truck 3 days ago. its a 1984 chevy 1ton, 350/465/205 dana 44 front and 14 bolt ff. so far it has a 3 inch body lift 4 inch suspension lift. i got this from my buddy, he was putting it together but now has a rod knock and he just wanted to get arid of it. the motor has vortec heads and intake with around a 480 lift cam. my plans are to restore the truck to pull trailer and daily driver. im playing around with the idea of doing a full restore since its in really nice condition already. i have everything to switch it over to tbi and hydraulic clutch, replace the 205 with a 208 i have and possibly put my dana 60 front and 14 bolt with factory locker in it. these axles have 4.10 gears in them already which i think would do well with the combo. it has 35 mts on it.

Started ripping into it last night. Hood off, Carb and almost all wires unhooked. Cleaned out the bed to get it ready to lift off

thanks guys this is my first restoration type build and tried finding a solid 80's chevy to start with. which is hard to find these days. only rust hole so far that i have found is at the front of the drivers side rocker panel thats hidden under the fender. also i have to say that i love orangecrush, i have only seen your truck once out at thompsons bog a couple years ago and thats one badass truck dude.

Haven't updated this in awhile. Pulled the box off cab off and transmission and tease. Started wire wheeling the frame. Sending the cab off to the body shop next month for new floor pans rockers and cab corners. Its slowly coming along
