Yeah I want the procomp 9000. I didn't get them ordered yet because summit doesn't have the length I need. I might have to resort to offroaddirect seeing he does, shipping time just seems to take forever.

The shocks will stretch out at 32 inches so I need at least taller than that, im thinking 35 so I can always lift it more for 38s

i would NOT reccomend puting the 9000s on the front.... with that duall shock tower it will be a STTIIIFFFFFFF ride.... i run dual hydralic shocks and it can be stiff at times.... allthough i have the next step up with nitros in the back and just the single ones are stiff too. but it does ride real nice in the back when its got an extra 500lbs loaded down in it

Well I didn't wait for feedback lol. Summit had some and shipped them yesterday, and they will be here today. I guess a stiff ride it will be.  My front is super soft right now. The 52's have a lot of give vs. The 47's.

well stiff aint a bad thing either i guess... itl help with body roll with those soft springs!

First run was to the dunes last weekend. Truck ran great and I beat the suspension up and everything worked well. The leaves make some noise since they shift around in the pack a little.

I did crack my t case at the end of the day. Right above the front output. This one didn't have the brace that runs he the front of the truck and im sure that's why it cracked.
I had another 241 with mechanical speedo.  I took them apart last night and put the pickup sensor and gear in the 89 case.

Crack.

Out with the old mechanical
In with electric

The trans shifts fine and it all works good. I will get the support put on this one so hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Here's some pics of the dunes

that truck is awsome! is ur truck really wide because those are dually axles? And where did u get that rear shackle flip kit? i plan on doing all of this to my 93 yukon 2 door.

Thanks you should definetly do it to your tahoe. No its not wide because the h1 rims only have 2 inches of backspacing. 7 inches of the rim sticks inward but you would never notice. The shackle flip came from offroaddesign.com

Blew my motor at the dunes.  I have a 260hp goodwrench crate motor with a 2 peice seal.  I am going to do a cam swap and head swap and carb the truck.  I'm looking for some vortec heads if anyone has any...

Kyle

that should make some good power

Ok guys im swapping out my motor for my goodwrench crate. Im putting a new cam and timing chain with edelbrock intake and eldelbrock carb. I was going to convert over to mechanical pump. If I simply unplug the fuse for the pump will the sending unit still work for my gas gauge or will I have to do something different. Thanks
==dew

Kyle

i dont see why it wouldnt work ==idunno why dont ya leave the pump in the tank working and just put a fuel pressure regulator on it?
