got this project last summer. lost the picutres i had of it when i first got it.  1995 ranger 78 bronco frame half ton axles on 38 inch swampers and a 460  bought it as an unfinished project.  the truck was just sitting on the frame previous owner cut out the fire wall and striped the interior of wires and everything. i was going to leave the axles and run the 38s kind of a wheeler i could drive on the street if i wanted but i got a daily so i said screw that i want it bigger.  ;) sanded the frame down and used chassis saver on everything. took all the frame rivets out to take the mounts and cross members out to make it easier to sand down.  had to extend the frame 3 feet to fit the bed, build cab mounts and bed mounts, make the 460 fit in the bronco frame, build a fire wall, make mount for steering column now making a cross member. got to find a front axle and lift it. pictrues i got are of mostly last summers work

sanded the axle down and put it back in

bbr528

front end all done and painted, moved the cab from the back yard to the frame with a few push mowers and a come along then jacked it up to roll the frame under

bbr528

made some mounts for the 460 and made a fire wall

bbr528

all painted, made some valve cover clearence and made a battery tray

bbr528

dash with switches and gauges

bbr528

exted the frame with 3 x 6 .25 tubing

bbr528

welded and bolted a peice of plate steel to the out side of my welds,  never welded a frame so more support couldnt hurt,  threw the bed on and thats how she sat on 38s at the end of last summer,  the motor on my daily driver went out so i spent time rebuilding that then had to leave for school so she sat all winter

bbr528

made some bed mounts, picked up some 44s, and a full exhaust system

bbr528

almost had the cross member done this morning but went to the mounds for some fun
