. Got front clip back on, raidator mounted, large trans cooler mounted ,engine chain down, battery mounted, front Bump to the top! stops in, cross brace over rear drive shaft notched an remounted, front drive shaft took out to upgrade to 1410 joints an got rid of double vilosity joint. mounted trans temp gage. ready for fuel if it only had a front end under it.  Sad Took it out, striped it to just a housing. Haveing housing milled an fab up mount to fix the two stud problem I had. O-so close  the DIRTIEST WEBSITE on the NET!

Axle had outers cut off - turned center section to limit some drive shaft angle - outers welded back on - shim welded on spring plate too fix sping angle - witch leaves the two studs at the wrong angle - this is how I got axle - if you see in pic they bolted square stock to axle at wrong angle and fixed by bending square stock in rear adding threaded rod- - front treaded rod in axle front stud hole - locked down square stock with nut - then bent threaded rod too fix wrong angle. This my have worked for them but I know it has been bugging me sence I got axle. I new I had to do something an never adressed it till now.  I'm Thinkin  will be strong when it comes back from its surgery

Chain -- is to do just that help limit engine movement chained both sides - headers are  really close on passanger side down by frame. Just figuered this would help things  Or crack my head  Who Knows? I  love all  input. Let me have it guys good or bad idea on chain ?

Got trailer to haul it now.  ==dancinbanana Now pressures on. Time to finish truck for TRUCKS GONE WILD

Still have to pull distr-cap to put new msd rev limiter cap on. Dam was it nice to hear it run. Love the new electric fuel pump ,new carb. fired engine with first turn of the key. Still have to set timing. replace drain plug seal on transmission pan its got slow drip.

April 15, 2012

May 2 2012                                        Sticks of Rome - Trucks gone wild 2012
Fixed trans had to block a hole in valve body. Was running with 1st an 2nd sharing fluid. Had a flawless week end truck ran great all weekend. Got to finish them wiper blades now LOL sticking arm out window with a window washer stick works still a pain. Made TGW  2012 Priceless weekend.

May 7 2012
Well after getting it cleaned up. I found I bent both rear main leafs an ripped one rear spring pocket and caved in body mount pokets. I was thinking mud was why it was sitting little lower in the rear. I was wrong. New I should have got them rear bump stops put in.  loll

June 1 2012
Well since trucks gone wild I have fried both my optimum batterys have not figuered out why maybe because I was bragging them up that they were like 13 or14 years old an worked in every thing I have. When to the bay city comp bogg a few weekends ago ran the 35 boggers in class 2. Won that class changed to 44 boggers an then starter took a Poo an split the starter gear in half. Was so looking forward too running 44s after doing so well with 35s. next time!!!! still running with badly bent rear main leafs know money to fix yet. Just put a new battey in it yesterday. hope it holds a charge or I have a wirring problem to fiure out.

Wow been a long time sence last up date. 2015 truck ran great. MMJ was fun filled week. Truck needs new rear springs for this year. Truck pulling was a blast at mmj 2015. Truck was flawless!!!

July 31 2019
Time too catch up on updates.
(2016) Truck got  bran new rear leaf springs, Big shock bump stops in rear ,Rear water tank sprayer for windshield.
MMJ 2016 Ran the p00 out of it till i started hitting a big jump harder an harder. Till i cracked the transmission and bent the new rear leaf springs. Riding on new Big shock bump stops now and Bleeding transmission fluid
(2017) sat on jack stands in corner.
(2018) still sitting on jack stands.
(2019) 7-29-19new transmission an transfercase back in. Trying too make MMJ 2019 have too hook every thing back up an then try an fix rear leaf spring problem.

October  22 2019
2019 did nothing too springs still riding on bump stops.  Made MMJ did tugs at hard hat bar. Hooked too my brothers Denali Duramax. Bed loaded with asphalt. Transmission was not working right. Lost bad. Loaded up headed back too MMJ Pulled transmission.  Pulled a second transmission  apart for parts. Rebuilt put it back in. Ran all over mud pit transmission worked great. Did find out problem with rear springs got a 58" should be a 54" spring. Explains why they keep bending. Order a new set an should solve this problem.  From the beging of this build.

March  2 2025
Wow long time since update. Still sitting on bump stops in rear. Ran truck few mud party weekends and a friend's Batchelor party night. That night was it's last run for a while hit a tree head on and it did not move. Lol
Which started the give it some love stage. Put on stands in back corner garage. Fixed all new front end an bumpers. Started - all new plugs ,wires, msd distributor, all new fuel filter system, radiator, belts, new timing tab, high torq starter, all fluids changed. Getting close hope to get back out there this summer.
