My headers don't fit. They are for a 250/350. The engine perch is different. They ate headmens for a 460. They are clean. I want to sell them for $200 or trade for zoomies.

Im going to buy a tire knife this week n groove em up. I just used some off brand rust stop paint from ace. I'm not sure of the gears. I'm going to change over to 2.5 tons this winter so I haven't even looked into it.

Are they good? Oval port headers? Mine are circle and that restricts the flow a lot.

so i put the motor in and fired it last week. it ran great. we tuned it in pretty close. however the next day it wouldnt turn over. i backed off the timing and still it wouldnt turn over right. i checked and changed my power wires etc. still not turning over more than a turn or so. I cant even turn it with a wrench. so i puller all the plugs ant there was a lot of gas on them and the starter will roll the motor over but its hard as hell. Im thinking i spun a main.

is the oil pump rod on the end(bottom) of the distributor

Did u prime the oil pump befor u ran the motor

I think the rod is in right. The ditributor set down ok on it. And I cranked the motor a few times before starting it to prime it. I was told that would be good because the motor had been ran before the way it is.. but if it wasn't getting oil would I have fried the mains?
