Bought the truck last summer and through it together with spare parts. Had some fun but needs some work. http://wegotmud.com/forum/index.php?topic=67498.0 original thread.

Looking like of needs a motor upgrade. LOL I'll have to come check it out next time I'm in the area.

As you can see triangulated 4 link front and rear. Moved 60 forward 4 inches and moter is about 5in back to put a bbc balancer over axle center. Suspension is 2in taller in back and 4 in front then it was to make up for 40s in the front and 44s in the back. Using f150 coils front and 250 pounders in back. Got 9in of up travel front 7 rear. Got two 18.4 16.1 vees im cutting for rear and some cut turf tire 18.4s front. For some reason they are 4in shorter then rear?  Moter is tbd for now. Found steering from a gleaner combine so were gonna try that. Gutting everything and building cage. More to come soon i hope. This is being built on an extremely tight budget. There are a few things i would do differnt if i had some money but we'll see how much fun we can have for cheap!

Got the moter mounted. Using a tall deck for mock up so i know one will fit but looks like the budget is only gonna alow a small block. Droped the block off this week. Gonna be a 383. .150 keith blacks, 6in eagle I beams, scat crank, rhs 200 heads, solid cam and I picked up a victor intake with a direct port nos kit for it. Maybe give it a small hit of juice if it wont hold 2nd gear!

Got the body back on and gutted. Finally got around to having my tubing bender cut out and assembled. Then got the cage all built used 1.5 sch 40 pipe. It was cheap and its the only die i have for now. Turned out pretty good but i definitely have a new found respect for people that are good at fabing cages. Ill get picks up in a bit.

Got some more progress. Floor pan and firewall framework are all done and ready for the aluminum. Removable Dog house is done. Seats and harnesses are done. Brake pedal and mc are mounted. Used stock s10 gas pedal. Used stock shaft coming out of the orbital valve and turned it down to .750 to accept steering wheel quick coupler. Front shock mounts are done.
