you can open carry without a CPL....  anytime you are in or "on" a vehicle it is then considered concealed and you must have a CPL.


And Technically a bicycle is considered a vehicle... and law says you are supposed to obey the same traffic rules on a bike as in a car..... I am not sure about carrying on a bike and what the law says about it if anything, I'm pretty sure its one of those gray areas and it probably won't go in your favor if police get a call that theres some guy riding a bike with a gun....   thats how it goes, if it was me I wouldn't without a CPL just to be safe

heres all the laws that apply to a person on a bike.... and they are to follow same traffic laws when on the public streets or highways, once again it is a fine line as the gun law states if in a vehicle or the person is concealing the gun you need a  CPL, as according to MI vehicle code a bike is not a vehicle but who knows I just figure better safe than sorry, but if you was ridding your bike and some fool tried to rob you and you shot him then the police say your a hero lol its real stupid how our law system works.
