So ive been with this girl since i was a freshmen shes only 1 yr and a few days younger than me. I just graduated this year. I joined the Navy last fall and she knew i was going to and she was fine with it. Last night after i go to her house after i get out of work she tell me that she needs a break and she will tell me her desicion when i get back from bootcamp. (9 weeks long). Im leavin july 31st for camp... What a way to start camp, no girl and broken hearted after a 3 yr 8 month long relationship... I love this girl to death and id do anything to change her mind but i cant. I love her and this is gunna hurt like hell moving on if i have to

Sorry guys and gals but what shes done has killed me and i just needed to vent and put it somewhere

It sucks but when you get back and visit her in your uniform I bet her mind will change again.  But then again how many other girls like a man in uniform?  While your on break take the time to talk to other girls.  You don't have to date them or do anything else just relax and enjoy the freedom that your preparing to fight for.

She always is on my mind... Nothing ive done can get her off it.... But like mudbilly said, i guess i have more time to add to my workout everyday......yea i figured id talk but yea somethings there

You are young and have your whole life ahead of you.  There are a lot of opportunities ahead of you,  embrace them. The world is a big place and you will meet the girl that is right for you.  Thank you for having the courage to serve your country and join today's Armed Forces.

just remember......the world is a big place.............there's lots more women out there besides her!!!

Think of it this way..............better she told you now................than when your 3000 miles way (or more) .............cause that shitt has happened ALOT  with peaple serving in the military and their "significant other"  either cheating on them back home.......or sending them letters saying they want a divorce or calling the relationship off.

military service can be a curse for a relationship......the one being left behind has no one to talk too when their down and out, they're left completely alone.........no one to give their affection to......................and honestly......I can see why some people would be forced to stray from their partner in situations like that.......

Been there, done that! Dear John letters suck! Look at it this way, now you dont have to worry if shes screwing around on ya when your gone. Live up that single life! It only happens once!

Thinking might be a good idea your not married and dont have any kids might be better for the both of u so no one gets hurt later on if you know what i mean.
IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE JUST GET IN HOLD ON AND GO

sounds like a new opportunity....make sure u do your living while u still have the chance...that way when it's really time to settle down u can commit 100% to that girl with no regrets

Not a bad thing, take this time and take care of yourself. attend to all of your business.  Let her do her thing, you do yours.

It'll all work out, always does!

trust me this, Its better she tell you now then get the letter in boot camp..... we all feared that letter in bc.. some guys got it and it ruined em, You already feel all alone yet surrounded by so many people, and to get a letter form the one person you can truly talk to about everything has really got suck in the middle of all that.

And if she has to take time to think about you all's relationship.... It not worth it, there shouldn't be a doubt in your mind or hers, if there is "ditch the byTch" and go fishin loll... If she's not going to be there for you for one of the worst times (spirtually, and emotionally) in your life, is she really worth wasting more time on her... You are worth more than that, and you will find someone that will be there for you no matter what, and will hurt when you hurt and be happy when your happy, when you do... shes a keeper :)

Good luck and have fun in the Navy... Both me and my old man are Navy vets :)    keep us updated when you get out of boot camp... or while your in bc, sneek on a puter :)  ha ha......  what you going as?  or should I say whats your job guna be?

my uncle retired after 20 years of doing that. Chief Petty Officer.

You shoulda joined the army! lol

84silverado

I want to try to be a master chief. I thinking when my 4 yr contract is up sign up for the next 16 and have fun doing it... And the reason i joined to be a machinist is because my dad has been in a machine shop since high school, my uncle owns lp products and quite a few people in my family are machinist and its something i know and something i like

I did talk to the army recruiter!!!
