well  kick round the idea of buildin a ls stroker instead of the short block for the s10 bogger im building..  got a lm7 ??? dirt cheap..

so never had one of these always played with the old short blocks, dont know anything bout them but i hear they make great power...

.. block is 12551358....so thats comes to a 4.8 and a 5.3....

any info on the heads or the block even will be great, as i never actually seen one out of a car untill last week. ..lol   any builds??

Not yet but I have done alot of research as I want to build a 6.0 and my girl wants one in her 72 nova. Did you get wiring harness and computer with it? Do you want to keep it injected or go carb?

You won't have it but for a couple months anyway them it will be in my garage.  So no need to waste your time reading.  LOL

If you get it Chevyracer I want dibs lol. I think a carb would be a little easier but more money up front.

Lm7 should be 285hp and 325lbs. This book doesn't have the head or block numbers but I believe my other ls/vortec book does. Will try to look them up tomorrow.

ya intake in close to 300 then 600 for the whole kit with the harnes and all.......

ice87

Yes but if you stroke it and bigger cam you should have a custom tune not a shelf one. So you have to find a tuner, trailer it there pay to have it tuned and trailer it back. As far as I know tuners aren't too cheap. So either way is alot of money but a carb you can tune if you want to try a different cam or set of heads.
