Well couldnt sleep last night so i started on the truck again. I got the belt tensioner repositioned, the valves adjusted, and set the timing. Along with some other small stuff. Still need an alt, a serpentine belt, a floor shifter and cable, and trans fluid. Gotta have this thing done by the 15th

You can still run/time it, then re-lash valves on just the battery. I haven't had an alt in the truck all year.

I know im gunna still put an alt on it. Its not gunna stop me from running it if that ends up being all i need.

Well i got all but the starter and alt wired up. Gunna put the rad in run hoses and put the torque converter bolts in next.

The radiator is sitting in its place it just needs to be bolted in and the carb is now sealed and bolted to the intake now. Gotta hook up fuel lines and wire the starter. Run trans lines and get fluids in it along with the serpentine belt and itll be ready to fire.

Got the rad mounted my buddy gave me an electric fan and a cap for the back so i got those mounted and the fan wired up. I went and got both fenders this morning so now the truck has all the sheet metal back on now. Just a little bit more to go and itll be done... For now lol.
