here is a 69 cutlass my dad started restoring 10 years ago. figured i migh as well bring it to my house and finish it. That way we can have a nice cruiser this summer.

here are some pics when i got it to my place, He had wayyy to much filler in this quarter. over 1". ground it out finished the metal I have less than a 1/4" in the deep spots.

got it all primed up. man those body lines look nice but arent so fun to make. the car had taken a pretty good quarter panel hit in its past life.

sanded and prepped all the jambs yesterday. got them all painted and cleared. the color is a 69 only option color. carribean turquoise my dad had a 442 that color and wanted thi one to match.

2 coats of sealer, 4 coats of base, 2 coats of clear. sorry about crappy cell pics. it is getting a white vinyl top, painted factory wheels, a 307 4bbl 200r4 od trans just going to be a nice street cruiser. let me know what you think.

some more pics. Yes i have done bodywork before. was a body tech for the last 4 years and a painters helper/ assistant paint  instructor for 1.5 years. this will be my second complete paint job done in my garage. I am adding a 14x40 paint booth to the garage this spring. going to start doing painting/repairs once i get this completed.

Thanks. The first time it has had all of its panels on in 10 years. got a little ahead of myself should have put the doors on before the front clip. The clip will be coming off tomorrow so i can adjust the doors, I have found ways to hang all the parts alone I just cant do the hood. it has to be close to 130# and 8' long lol. few more pics.
