So this is the new mounds pounder trail rig.
It's a 1999 Jeep Cherokee classic.  It's got rusty rockers, front floors and a small hole in the roof.  Also it has 33/12.50/15 BFG All-Terrains stuffed under it at stock height.  It's had some trimming done.

Today I pulled the rotted bumper and the front sway bar off.  It rides better and now rubs on the chassis. Found some cheap lifts so ill order one this weekend.

I had 31s on a stock cherokee for a while before I got a lift. No cutting on mine. Those rubbed bad enough--I can't imagine 33s! Good luck. Have fun with it.  a=f

Where did you find a cheap lift? Looking for one myself.

Are you shooting for sat or sun before Christmas ?

WHITE KNIGHT

Make ur own lift for around 120 bucks , much better than add a leave u bolts are around 40 buck s for good ones and center pin  Chevy leaves work good  , and grab some ford coils off a 150 work great , I can put 4 big guys in jeep and never bottom out  while wheeling ,

I wouldn't recommend f150 springs of your gonna plan to have any flex, they are rated for a lot more weight, I would keep the stock springs and spacers before springs from a different vehicle, my jeep did very well with spacers and add a leaf on the rear
Fat chicks welcome IT'S A 2 1/2 TON!!

i ran f150 coils in my last jeep. flexed out just fine. make the dakota ba$tard pack for the rear. also v8 grand cherokee springs will give you lift also.

I bought an add-a-leaf kit from them. Came with the leaf, new bolts, longers springs for the front. It worked great and was very easy to install. Never had a problem with it.  a=f

Add a leave is ok and it will get u a little lift , but if u go wheeling every weekend and really ride the quad trail , they don't hold up and put some weight like gear and freinds back there , well  , the ford coils up front do work great . Yes they flex fine wish they were a little longer , when were trail g  my wheel can drop way down I have longer shocks that's my limit strap, lol at full drop I ca. Get out move my spring about 3" up and down on bump stop  , but can't go no wear , anyone who rides with me I'm sure will say it is very good trial rig , the back of mine sits  about 6" hi and

I've got some F-150 coils coming.  I've got lift blocks laying around so I think I'll just get new ubolts and be all set.

I checked some things out today.  Found that if I put a 2" spacer between the bumps stop and the axle, the tire rubs only on the frame in ine spot, and none on the body.   Fixing this requires wheel spacers, narrower tires, or  wider axles to fix. I'm gonna space the bump stops for now and see how it goes for now,  I also am cleaning up the trimming on the fenders.

I also confirmed the caliper is junk, master cylinder is good.
