I'm looking into replacing the mufflers on my truck(7.4 vortec),  has true duals now, with no name mufflers, want a deccent rumble but not obnoxious when pulling a trailer under full load, kinda leaning towards borla, or flowmaster 50 series, anyone have and real suggestions?  I looked up sound clips on the tube, but most were crap and the kids reving the piss out of it

A lot of things affect the sound/ engine, pipe size, muffler placement and where it exits the vehicle.  Flo-master would be my pick tho.

I've always liked flowmaster, I had a 50 series on the burban and it sounded good, but I never really towed with it, and since I'm gonna be towing my pig of a trailer and Rockwell equipped k5 I don't wanna go deff under a load lol

Only a flow master ...can and does ...add horsepower to the cars traveling next to you , while they are with in ear shout of it  applaudd

hence speeding up traffic , and promoting drafting...hence saving fuel  ;D

Flowmasters would be my pick

Jjay78

flowmaster 70s would be nice and tame, a little quieter than the 50 series, but still sound good and have a little rumble, their page for street mufflers charts out how loud or quiet they are, the further left is loud and the far right is tame http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/?page_id=10995

most of us outgrew obnoxious pipes. I don't want to hear that p00, neither do my neighbors.
