SHES FINALLY CLEAR FOR TAKEOFF!!!! well jumping dunes that is... after 6 total hours of grinding with a dremel tool and a sanding stone(for a drill) the yoke on the front axle finally allows the front driveshaft to completely rotate at full droop with no issues!!!  ==whew

Nice truck. How does it ride? I had to go to a single shock set up in the front because it was so stiff but i used the cheepest shocks i could find. They practically froze the suspension and broke the hoops after i launched it a couple times.

the was it rides depends on the terrain... in town goin slow it likes to bounce but offroad and high speeds its pretty smooth. the back is the worst cuz i added 3 leafs to it and had to do nitro shocks cuz summit was outta the hydros(but im not complainin cuz the back end hooks awsome now even with the open diff)... and the front aint too bad tho, needs a new set of leafs cuz theyre extremely old and sag an inch...

and i plan on gettin up to the dunes soon so ill be able to test the strength of my welds there ;)

i bought the wheels first... which was stupid on my part. im goin to put a 14 bolt ff in later too. the 44 front should be just fine for 35s. and i hope it makes some people look twice seein a ford front axle and a 1 ton in the back when they never were 6 lug. its just somethin different i guess than the standard axle swaps the EVERYBODY does

id just watch out for the drop tcase... ur gonna have to cut into the trans crossmember to make it fit and to clear the driveshaft. the setup in completely different from a solid axle chevy in an ifs one... and be ready to so some grinding on the driveshaft and the pinion yoke to clear the angles and length depending on how big ya go

one thing in my opinion..im not trying to make any drama or nothing...but go to advance auto instead of auto zone and get new blocks...steel blocks..them aluminum ones will bend out and the perch will go up into it..mess up the block.then axle can shift then you will blow about 3 drive shafts before you find out whats wrong...well thats what happend to me with aluminum blocks...you might be okay with aluminums since its only a 1'' long as you dont have much wieght on it...but all together...nice f%#@g truck...

i didnt realize advanced had the steel ones... and i pobably will be gettin rid of em when i get some new front leafs. these leafs smashed like 2 inches down cuz theyre so wworn and my tires and fender aint gettin along too well on tight turns lol. so depending on how much higher a new set of front leafs put me up ill prolly have to get a bigger one anyways. and hey man, opinions are GOOD in my book! im always lookin for ideas to make it better and what i need to keep an eye out for

had some fun at drummond island with my dad. hit the orv trails not realizing it was all rocks and we couldnt move faster than 2mph.... after 5 miles of it taking the long route we did we decided it was enough... his stock truck didnt have the ground clearence for all the boulders strewn through the water holes. was the first true test of the sas and it worked AMAZING!!!  ==dancinbanana
