You figure to shim the axle a bit, maybe? Hey about how much was the driveshaft, just outta curiousity?

yea i had thrown around the idea if i ran into too many issues with the new one goin back in. i just wanted to keep most of the axle angles as close to stock as possible cuz it gets DD more than bogged. i had it lengthened 1.5" for 80 bucks. i beleive they can make a whole new one for 180 bucks. they just dont have any high angle shafts

well i got bored and thought itd be a good time to break in the newly lengthened front driveshaft....  ;D cool thing was i still had traction when i stopped. and thats a 3-4ft snowbank. very suprised at how much workable flex it has

the u bolts i had were 3 5/8" OC and they were 3 1/2" apart OC from eachother and the one ubolt that goes around the pig i heated up and rebent it till it was 4" OC. i drilled my holes to 1/2" which is the size of the ubolts and it was really tight, id drill it out to at least 9/16" and just use a washer on it
