Bout got the motor buttoned up except I cant find the stupid fitting I just bought to replace the one on the back passenger side of the intake for the heater, Ive looked everywhere except for where it actually is, hope I didnt accidentally scrap it!! loll

Apparently I will need to extend the wires for the speed sensor to reach the tcase, I have no idea if it will even read correctly or not.. Anybody know one way or the other ???

it should read correctly, I believe its and on/off sensor not a resistance reading.

It runs on a reluctor ring... dont extend any farther than you absolutly have to and keep the connections as clean and sealed as you can, maybe even use them connecters with the shrink wrap on them.  Should work fine as long as you dont add to much to the circuit.

old school truck dude

I figure to add about 1-1.5' to it, will that cause a problem?

RIP_K52007

should be ok... just use the same size wire. It is a on/off switch in a way I suppose. Just dont want to add too many ohms since its a 5v system running off the computer.

old school truck dude

Ok, I see what youre sayin, Ill keep it pretty short then  - thanks! ;D

Well it showed me just how important the ground wires are. It absolutely would not start until I cleaned up the engine to frame ground wire.. Would not pump fuel except for when it felt like like it which was the other day, not today loll Ran some brake lines and some other minor stuff, gettin closer ;D
