im not, but when you walk into a place and they tell you "go home and use the computer" thats kinda bs.

Every job Ive had in MI came off the pc. Pound that keyboard on MI talent bank, youll get a call sooner or later.
well said...sometimes it don't happen overnight and sometimes it does.  Its a matter of being in the right place at the right time.  You need to ha e confidence and sell yourself at these places or you no more remembrable then the last 20one people that walk through the door.  How old are you?  If your 21 and a career in trucking interests you then go to one of the big trucking companies and enroll in there schooling programs.  It may not be glamorous at first but it will put you on a path that you can turn into something that works for you.

then again...........I might propose this

...........is it possible to be HEALTHY............and still be considered overweight??

Have you considered going to COLLEGE??  Even a 2yr degree and a community college can get you a decent paying........if not great paying job.

check out Pepsi, Coke, and Fabiano Brothers.  they are all looking for seasonal warehouse workers.  it'll be third shift, but it'll pay VERY well.  i was getting $18.54 at pepsi last summer, driving fork trucks and loading trucks.

I do want to go to college but i truthfully still dont no what i want to do as a career, Problem with college is you spend your money and maybe halfway through u figure out you dont wanna do w/e for the rest of your life.

I can understand that ,  you really need to have some idea of what you want to do with your life, and that means setting goals and having ideas.

For career goals you need to ask yourself.....what do you enjoy doing, and what you really like, and find out how it can or would fit into a career and then go from there.

If in doubt talk to a college counselor they can give you guidance on career paths.

Keep an eye out on craigslist for job postings under Help wanted > General labor. My Cousin has had a lot of luck landing work through there.

we all got our own input lolol. I did the college thing wasnt getting anywhere.. Started out volunteering at sears then worked for them. Then kfc, bailing hay, canoe base, high school janitor, hungry howies, college janitor, auto value, grocery stock, discount tire, knapheide and now gibbs tech... Just get what you can get. Gramps always said you dont get anywhere til you leave where ur at. Just keep filling apps out even after you get a job.
