mud bog prices

Please keep all clean i got a kinda funny question why do bogs charge us more with a truck then spectators we're out there putting the show on backing parts and cost money and gas i have $200 in easy to go or leave truck at home pay $5 and and watch
I think it should be other way around just my 2cent

As one of the people without a truck i have thought this many times... Honestly i think its that they are letting you use there land but idk??

and making money off spectators by us using there land usually?

? couple places used to take money if you wanted to give for trucks and charge spectators that was great...

I have to agree....it be nice to see the spectators charged a little more, and hell even pay us a little for putting on a show, but i don't think it would ever happen, for one yes the land owner needs to make a few bucks, as he's lending it to us, and he maintains it, and the pit. Also its a cheap sport to go watch, as you said $5 for spectators, its not all that cheap for us boggers as you pointed out, its actually quite expensive when all the costs are added up, but its simple, dig to Deep into the fans pockets and they will stop coming, start digging into the boggers pockets....yea a few might stop going but there will always be a few that will put on a show........... in reality I'm not asking to get paid, but yes I agree 100% that the price should be about the same if not less for boggers than for the spectators

I'm ok with paying more if there is a pull out vehicle there, and I prefer bogs with them

The spectators are pointless in my mind, I go out to enjoy something that I like to do.
I do however believe that since the price for spectaters has gone to $10 for most bogs that the price for trucks should have gone down a little.

Just me here, but if gets like Drag Racing. It will get to the point that we can no longer run with out sponsors and corporate interest.Let's keep this last form of motorsports to ourselves and not bring in big money.I too would like to enjoy this sport without the cost, so lets keep this between the mudders.I too agree with your statement but this is how things lead to big money.Love it all lets keep it cheap and encourage our spectators.

Usually there are pull out vehicles,(dozer-excavater) etc, i dont mind paying a few bucks to tear someone elses land up and get pulled out while doin so,those vehicles use fuel and prob lots of it,plus those running the equipment need to be compinsated as well , so i dont mind paying at all.. just my 2 cents..

This has been debated many times and I agree if you bring a truck it should be same price since your gonna draw the spectators to the show. The bulk of the money is made off them anyways. It's not the paying that in question just the fact your getting charged more to help make the person money in the first place. I'd also be willing to bet the spectators leave most of the trash/mess when they leave. O well what's a couple bucks lol

as much as I love a free bog, which are far and few in-between anymore, I don't mind paying upwards of $20 bucks a truck, even if the land owner charges that much to make a quick buck, its still their property that they are letting us tear up. also maybe they are charging so much out of fear of being sued if someone gets hurt, not everyone can afford insurance to hold an event and I know some of the money goes toward fuel and wear and tear on a pull out vehicle, plus in my mind if your charging 20 a truck there better be a recovery vehicle on site. as for the spectators I think they don't get charged as much because of the amount of people that show up 5 bucks a head adds up pretty quickly plus for families with 5 or more people any more than $5 bucks ahead might be a little more than most people can afford. last year I stood around and talked to the owner of a bog in which im not going to say said he raised his price from $5 per truck to $20 to possibly help weed out all the people who are disrespectful and tear up the parking area or roads when they are coming and going or taking advantage of the privilege that he is allowing them to play on his property, bawgin on someone elses property isn't a "right" its a privilege! if that make sense.

I don't have a problem paying there prices just thinking they should do like a family price if your bringing your bogger $20 for me and $20 to get the family in so $40 just to get in or if the wife takes her's $55. Then $200 for fuel hope there no brackege. So a family price would be nice. i do go and pay there prices

considering most bogs that get shut down are because of the spectators maybe it is time to charge them more for our privilege to play....after all they are only watching and ruining what we love to do.

Right now most bogs for me and the family are spectator only and it's 25 plus gas and snacks and to be honest I'm embarrassed enough showing up in a Kia.But would not mind a lil hike like 10 for parking and driver and 5 for each passenger. If it would help drop the price on the guys who are there to play. It mightalso help keep some of the trouble makers out that are giving us a bad name

Im going out on a limb here but who cares.... 300 to 500 to rent a pull out vehicle for the day, 2+ days of prep needing a vehicle thats the same or more a day, soo right theres about 1200 to 1500. Then if theres a porta john... Takes a hole lot of $10 to get there..

suppin to think about normally when you bring a truck , you have your "groupies" or family with ya

trucks and driver free (we do put on the show) gas and prep $200 , Truck $20,000 (estimate AVG) ,looks on spectators faces PRICELESS

and charge 10$ a head,

lets not let this sport get to the outrageous football, basketball and all other sports prices to get in !!!

I like what Sick n Twisted had going No Drinking No carts quads no pets thing
