Saturday I got the power steering working!  Woohoo! got the hitch flipped and mounted (see pic), sealed up the intake, and let the kids paint the sides (hilarious).    Sunday I ran it at the mounds, had an oopsie  and tore some wires loose near the starter.  rigged it up and it ran pretty well the rest of the day. 

I need to take a BFH to the firewall for more tire clearance, need to wire in the ignition toggle, and push buttons for start and kill.  also need to add more engine wrap, and put a windshield in, hookup my front recovery point, and i think thats it for now.

saturday i found out my electrical issue was a loose connection to the starter solenoid, and i wired in the on/off toggle and push button start, also bent my linkage back so i have park again...

I finally got the shredded 235/75/r15 removed from the factory 6 lug rim I have, and placed the 35/12.50/15 old bfg mtr on the rim for a spare. beats the heck out of that 31" spare i was carrying around, I also placed a cover over the intake opening above the hood to help protect it from any wild splashes.  now it looks more like a mobile home chimney then before I recruited Evan to wash the truck for me, and did some other minor work and rearranging.  I still need to get out the bfh for the firewall, have more engine shroud work to do, and need a windshield, however my ghetto patch seems to be holding up okay

I found springs for cheap but now i can't get a hold of the guy, we will see.  Here's a pic of my broken spring, i'm going to pull it out tonight.  Last night I pulled out my ghetto patched windshield, (its really easy by the way!) I got it out while flipping steaks on the grill.  Tomorrow I am picking up a non busted one to replace it J.C.

Soooo - I found that my driver's side u-joint for the wheel is gone, and so are the ears that hold it in on the inner and outer drivers side axle   I have an axle shaft arriving this evening, hopefully with everything i need except the u-joint itself. And I got springs that are bigger than the old ones, so they should hold up pretty good!  Now I just need the time to fix it

I'll keep that in mind...considering i've broken something 2 out of the 4 times i've had the truck out this year.

I got the parts i needed to The Orange Mafia once again!!!  If you guys keep rescuing me, I'm going to have to paint my truck orange

Driver's side spring is in, 3 leaf instead of 2.  i tore up one of the ubolts so I need to replace that.  Now the passenger side front spring and the drivers side inner and outer axle shaft need replaced and we are back in business.  I tried posting the pics a couple times but I keep getting a server error (and the size on the pics is good) My work computer sucks but I'll get them up soon.
