no, it took 3 days to get 10 minutes to take the tire off.  pretty sad i know. i will say it was a byTch because the lug nuts were so corroded under the chrome plating that it was like taking off 3 different sizes.

I've got new (to me) axles!  I picked them up tonight.  They are out of an 86 k5, have 4.10s in them (my stock ones were 3.08)  check them out complete assemblies.  I just need to put my manual hubs on them.  They even came with lug nuts, which is good, and you know why thats good if you have been following this at all.  By the way I think I have a name for the truck "Rusted Reject" because its (obviously) rusty and it was such a reject it was abandoned at auto city junkyard after it was closed, until it was given to me.

Well i started pulling more stuff off, got rid of a/c compressor, condensor lines, brackets etc.  opened up my front axle and the 4.10's look great!  need an axle nut wrench (with the 4 tabs, and then i can tear the axles down the rest of the way.
