I was thinking maybe a bad u-joint in one of the shafts. I guess all you need to do is put rockwells in and get a set of tractor tires and all the noises go away.lol Well other than steel breaking.

its very possible it could be a ujoint... ill be takin it all apart in the spring... and back when i was lookin into the sas i had thought about rockwells tho! i just gotta drive it everyday, thats why i didnt go that route lol

well took some time tonight after dinner to go outside with my dad and check out the front axle. rolled it back and forth in 4 and didnt hear anything knocking, drove up and down the road with amost no vibration(dirt road, gonna be some) so it all seemed to check out ok... i guess the ubolts being loose were the culprit, and having bad front leaf springs prolly dont help the situation much... so i decided to try and take out some snow banks that have accumulated from plowing the driveway. did ALOT better than last year when it was short!

well the snowstorm was awsome for me! had to drive home from work at 2am in the worst part of it, snow flyin everywhere, at least a foot of snow in the road! that part was fun and didnt bother me or the truck one bit! but less than a half mile from the shp the wiper motor quit.... for good this time... couldnt get it to work again.... then driving home with all the lights on the truck started to stall out, alternator was goin out at low rpms... great. no wipers with winsheild iced up with just basic lights on and no heater. but for some reason i was still havin a blast! got it home, grabbed a bite and was back in the garage at 6am tearin the wiper motor out, got that fixed then tore the alternator out and got a new one for that. done by 10am. then went and played on all the backroads with the 1-2ft of snow that was still on em! had a blast, truck did excellent! but the front yard was a different story... plowed and settled snow aint as easy to get through, even with the 35s

while my truck was down my best freind got stuck twice while he was plowing and i couldnt go and pull him out lol

not really any updates, fixed the studdering in the front end. thats about it.... should be gettin the block back from the shop within the next few days FINALLY! been pullin some overtime lately and now that income tax is back i can start shoppin for the remaining parts. i already got everything i need for the bottom end to put back together at least

lol thats good your getting it back i got my trans rebuilt and when taxes come back hoping to get axles finsihed up and buying kit

the new tow strap! close to 100lbs itself. i got the 2in 15ft strap rolled up layin on top of it just for size reference
