ok so after countless hours of torching beating pounding grinding and me coming home with burnt arms and ringing ears me and my buddy keith had finally gotten most the old unneccesary welds and all the rear axle mounts off.  what can i say all in a days work i dont like sitting around. but tomro im gunna do some mock ups with some cardboard and build some new mounts out of it then if i like them replicate with steel. plan is to lower the mounts 3 inches and also do shackle fliphoping im done with it by november so i can go huntin wish me luck

Well i got the rear shackle flip brackets fully welded in just need to do some grinding and throw some paint on them. fronts shud be done next monday or tuesday. then all i have to do is wire wheel frame and paint it and put rear susp and axle back in and frame will be done. body as we speak is sitting on trailer i need to un load it into garage just need some help.

been thinking alot and things arnt looking good for me.  im graduating this year and needing money for college and buying rocks isnt going to work out.  so i dont think im going to be putting rocks in this year. kinda sucks but im going to have to go to school after i graduate and then i can get a good job and be able to put rocks in anything i want so all in all its better in the end and ill be able to bog the explorer next year.

welp tore the what i thought was a 327 down last night.  and i was looking and it someone wrote on the crank 283 so i was curious so i ran the block and crank #'s and turns out that it is in fact a 283.  but im going to  tear it down to just the block and have it hot tanked and checked for crack and if it good im going to get a big cam for it and put new bearings and seals.  and run the piss outta it. but i got the back half of the frame painted and still dont know wtf im going to do about these motor mounts but hoping ill have it done soon. also have to put new spring perches on it. becuz i screwed up on my fabricating and my new mounts are like and inch off soo im going to have to get new ones and have them welded back on
